Request Data Deletion
Guidance for removing cloud-stored data or backups.
StockSnap POS is primarily an on-device app that does not create user accounts by default. This page explains how to request removal of any data we hold (for example, cloud backups or records we store on your behalf).
Email request (recommended)
To request deletion of cloud backups or data we hold, send an email to onlinetutoring@gmail.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include:
- Your business name and a contact email or phone number (if available).
- A description of the data or backup you want deleted (for example, backup date or merchant identifier).
- Any supporting information to help us locate the backup.
Local device data
Data stored on your device is controlled by you. To remove all local data, uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings. We do not remotely delete local device data unless you have enabled cloud sync and requested a remote wipe of backed-up copies.
What we remove
- Cloud backups or copies of transactions and inventory that we store on your behalf.
- Support attachments or logs that you have sent to us for troubleshooting (unless required for legal reasons).
Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 working days. We will confirm by email when the deletion is complete or if we need additional information.
